Love for *Dinaria's monster emotion-thing. xD Go check her journal out, the idea is quite cool.
I was thinking of doing either Hate or Love. Dinaria thought I would do love, so I did. (:
It was a hard one.. since I've never actually been in love. How are you supposed to resemble a feeling you have no idea what it feels like? Started asking people of their perspectives and definations of love, can't say I got something to work from. xD Most said it was hard, they didn't know how to put it down to words etc.
So I googled. (: Searched up definations, written by people. Stumbled across a pretty interesting article, or how to say, about love. Too bad I coulnd't read it all, you had to be a member on the site to do so..
But love isn't just about loving a partner or whatever. It's friendship too, caring for other people, respecting them. Though, most people think of the partner-thing when hearing the word love. I did too at first.
When in love, you get hyper and very happy and all. :] That explains her pose, she's HYPER.
The three different colours of her fur (pink, darker pink, brown) are meant to represent different kind of loves. The main pink colour, that's just love like in happiness. You're friends with someone, and they make you happy. Chose a pretty light colour for that one. Everyone should know what liking a person, in a friend-kind of way is like. It's good having a friend to care of, good things are often drawn with bright colours. xD No real meaning behind that one.
The darker pink represents the darker parts of love. It's more like sorrow down there. Annoyance too. If you love someone, and you care for them, you might get annoying in the end. Especially if the other person don't see you as a very good friend. Disappointment. You get hurted. It's also meant like some kind of block, blocking your words or feelings. That's why it sort of surrounds the monster, it's hard to get into that lighter pink, which is the love.
Down at the paws, it's an even darker shade of pink. Very similar to Sorh's paws. Since love easily can turn into sorrow and misery, she has it. It's pain, like Sorh has. Pretty much the same idea behind it. Love hurts, you know?
The lighter pink, almost white. The curlicures, or whatever. When you've just fallen in love, you get all hyped up and stuff. You're not really thinking, that's why they're so swirly. Those swirls are also used to "capture" you, and make you feel the love. xD Like Sorh's tail, which brings you tears. Meile's swirls bring you the feeling of love. The swirls can also move over Meile's body, so you can draw them almost how you want. They should still be around the back though.
The blue eyes, you sort of say that being blue-eyed is like being dumb. You can stop thinking whilst in love. The marking around the left eye doesn't really mean anything.
The different colours on the nose shows how quickly something can fall apart. The lighter side is when everything's good, darker side everything failed and boom and you got hurted.
The ears with the brown/orange colour. They're there to represent how important something can be. Chose a different colour because I wanted them to get noticed. Something that stands out, something unique. The person you like, I guess it would stand out and such. The orange is pretty much also for that love with partners, yes? Not just "hibuddyilu"-love. Chose the ears, because there are two of them. And I guess it usually is two people who like each other. >_> in most cases.
Claws + teeth are always shown. DUN FORGET THEM TEETH. Love can be dangerous, rawr.
Meile means love, in some language jhgdjfhd. :K
I'm not very good with designs. ;_; so if you people have a rad idea about this emotion/monster, tell me eet. 8D
